Our New Outdoor Facilities

Our school community is incredibly proud of our exceptional new outdoor facilities, which were officially opened on September 21st, 2024. This exciting development includes an astro turf pitch, a state-of-the-art greenhouse, a mud kitchen, an outdoor sand play area, and the centerpiece of the project — our architecturally designed sensory garden.

Already, the new facilities are having a profoundly positive effect on the wellbeing of our children. The space supports learning, creativity, and emotional development, and provides new opportunities for exploration, play, and relaxation.

Sensory Garden – A Journey of Discovery

Our unique sensory garden is a thoughtfully designed space that takes visitors on a journey through the senses. From the moment you enter, the landscaping and bespoke sensory installations are crafted to engage sight, sound, touch, smell, and even taste. It offers a truly immersive and therapeutic experience for all who visit.

We are deeply grateful to Sean Driscoll, the architect behind this stunning space. His creativity and attention to detail have brought this vision to life, creating a tranquil, stimulating environment that benefits the entire school community.

Astro Pitch

Our newly developed Astro turf pitch presents a modern, vibrant and well-maintained sports facility designed for year-round use. Surrounded by a secure, high fence, the pitch ensures safety and uninterrupted play.

Mud Kitchen

Tucked into a corner of the outdoor play area, the mud kitchen along with the sand play area is a magical space where creativity, curiosity and learning come to life.

School Library

Nestled at the heart of the school, the library is a welcoming haven of quiet inspiration and boundless discovery.

A Community Achievement

This ambitious project was made possible thanks to an eighteen-month fundraising campaign, led by our dedicated School Development Committee. Every element of the development was funded through these incredible community efforts.
